GB surgery, laproscopic, last Tuesday. I postponed it a week since I had graduation gigs through the week and weekend.
I likely could have played the actual ceremonies. Rehearsals on T/W would not have happened, but I could have been there.
I played for only about 15 minutes last night, and though my chops didn't like it, the rest of me felt great. Now, I have 3 more weeks until the big one. That will be a couple of months before starting to play, most likely. Welcome to summer, eh?

Charles, I'll see you on the 18th, right? With Pat? Day before "the big one".

and, thanks, guys. Sympathy isn't needed so much as smarta$$ comments. My favorite is still
that I seem to have a big, pulsing organ and I'm complaining about it.

I dunno what the "big one" is. I do know gall bladder surgery, however. I was so glad they could do it laproscopically. Good stuff there. Have fun discovering your "no can do" foods. Mine: Holandaise sauce. DAMHIK that one...
