Adamsville Band 1900

Post by DonShirer »

My brother found this pic of the Adamsville (OH) Band (circa 1900) at the Muskingum County Historical Society. We think our grandfather is the Euphonist 3d from right in the front row.
Like most town bands of that era, they have spiffy uniforms, but an unfortunate dearth of woodwinds!

The town band appears to be long gone, but their Tri-Valley High School marching band has won quite a few awards.
