March from Willy Wonka?

Post by Wes Krygsman »

Hello Tubenetters!

Another random question for the freak jury...

What is the name of the march played by the brass band in the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory when they are waiting outside the gates to the factory? I have searched and googled everything in my know how and can't find anything.

Interestingly enough, someone posted about this in the Off Topic section of Tubenet in 2007, so i know I am not alone in wanting to know.

This is the second time the band plays it, couldn't find the first on youtube.(starts at 3:13)

My searches did find that it was filmed in Germany...was it a German brass band? Maybe military? Let me know the march if you recognize it.

Thanks!
