It is a CG Conn 22K sousaphone, I think.

Yup.

A 22K as the previous poster mentioned would have short-action valves.

This is a 36K... same valve section as a pre-1987 14K.

Oh, I am sorry. :oops: I was basing my comment on photos I found on Google. I know the horn is a Conn, just not which model. I thought those guys only produced one fiberglass sousaphone. We had these in my college band. I liked them. They blat really well when you need them to, and can sound really good if you are not too much of a pig. Of course, we only had one music major in our section, so some of us were pretty piggish. <g>
