I think that sousa was posted here some months ago. The same seller has other sousas up, including a beautiful Holton.
There was a York Monster BBb sousa like this one at the first college I attended, but the neck section was messed up and leaky and it didn't have any bits.

If this plays anything like mine, the new owner won't be disappointed. A pro player liked my monster more than his 40k. :-X
Not surprised. Conn sousas are overrated (especially on this site). Waiting for the flames!
The auction ended at $1469. What happened - did they self-bid? I was the 2nd highest bid in that auction. I don't do a lot on ebay but it seems they must have been self-bidding. Is that against the ebay rules?
Seller is too quick to relist.
When items are accidentally won by a shill account, they are often relisted soon after auction closes. This is particularly salient for non-duplicable items: handmade, unique, or rare/hard-to-find items, especially antiques, art, and collectibles. Though it does happen that a high bidder refuses an auction immediately after winning, it is more likely that they'll string the seller along for at least a few days. Relisting in fewer than 4 days is far too soon to not activate your radar.
I made a report to ebay, but I feel like somebody owes me a large refurbished sousaphone for $1444 (my last bid) with zero shipping (part of the attraction was that I'm often in that seller's neighborhood).
