Joe, sounds like fun. As much as that piece gets practiced for those imaginary auditions, it rarely gets performed in one's career. I had my chance 35 years ago and have be 'waiting' and 'ready' ever since. To have the chance to also have a contra on standby is a hoot. So now we have one more thing to have 'waiting' and 'ready' for that great audition... and on the F cimbasso. Gotta love it.
