Wonder why the Miraclone links are just fine and the ones on my f aren't? Part of why I bought it was because I mistakenly assumed they would be about the same.

While not related, one thing I'd like to see the Chinese makers copy are MTS/SKB style plastic shell with wheels hard cases instead of the 'semi-hard' way too big current cases ( example--the Cimbasso case, or 'Case-Zilla'). Currently, only BMB supplies horns with MTS style cases and Eastman does likewise with their BBb 2341 clone tuba. I know it might increase costs, but I would think that if they were to see how Yamaha and Jupiter have made quality cases included with their low brass instruments, the mainland Chinese makers could do likewise.......
