I'm specifically looking for those of you who have or had at one time a MW 2145 CC tuba.
I need a suggestion on what mute(s) fit this instrument the best.

The regular H & B metal mute fits just fine.
The 2145 is a pretty easy horn to fit with a mute.
If you want the conductor to see it but don't really want to use it...
Buy an R&S, paint it orange (so the "Stick" can see it), but you'll never know its even in there.
I've also played some H&B mutes that have a small 1/8 inch hole drilled into the top to relieve some of the pressure.
