I would like to buy one of the Conn funnel-shaped mouthpieces that would likely have come with a 5J. A Conn 2? Something in good condition, at least.

Re: WTB: Conn mouthpiece
There probably was, but the one on ebay that ended Tuesday was pretty rough. Rim a bit messed up, end of shank shredded. I guess you could file the end off and cover the rim with nail polish and have a fair mouthpiece for $16.
Similar mouthpieces include Conn 7B and UMI 2. I think the latter is out of production; if someone has old stock, it may have a longer number like 1792-2 or something; looks kind of like an old style Denis Wick. I don't know if either of these is exactly like a Conn 2, or for that matter if all Conn 2s are the same. There's a "King #2" there this week that looks pretty clean and I'm guessing is an early version of the UMI 2. Not super cheap.
A FAXX copy of the 7B from hornguys.com is $55.

That's exactly what I thought when I bought it. Seriously, I have another conn 2 in good shape if you're interested. $35 shipping included. PM for pictures.
