I guess my first reaction was - why would he name it after a mid 70s automotive failure?

My first reaction was, "oh yeah, he's still in Japan."

My second reaction was that 30,000 is a little expensive just for a mouthpiece!

But no, I know nothing for real. Looks interesting though.

Last I heard, not. I remember the conversation with someone who would know, and I'm pretty sure I remember where I was told he's living now, but I don't feel confident enough to say here. I do think if he happens to be in Japan now, that is "again" rather than "still."

Since I'm not on Facebook... what's he up to in Oaxaca? Is that the center of Mexican tuba culture? Or is he just being an old retired guy in a warm climate?

I believe that's exactly it. He spoke fondly of the area in his interview on Sarah's Horn Corner on YouTube.
