Re: UPS FedEx reliability
Everything you said is wrong.
I am right because I have a lot of experience and you are wrong.
If you or anyone disagrees with me I will continue to post until you give up or die.

Re: UPS FedEx reliability
Interesting.
I figured DHL is a German company, so they should know a thing or two about shipping tubas, ja?

Re: UPS FedEx reliability
Going into the late rounds, both contestants are still hammering!
Bloke and Greg79 have exhausted all sensible arguments but are still pounding away!
The champion seemed to be weakening and threatened to pull out, but he has come back strong!
Neither will give up!
What a battle!
It looks like they could keep this up for a long time!
Maybe they will even start a third thread! Or a fourth!

Re: UPS FedEx reliability
Let's see …
UPS sucks = about 3,670,000 results
FedEx sucks = 17,300,000 results
Greyhound sucks = 231,000 results
GregTuba79 sucks = 132,000,000 results
Draw your own conclusion.

Re: UPS FedEx reliability
So to recap:
Greg says that shipping with Greyhound is the ONLY way to go, and that they will even give your tuba a free trip to Mexico if you don't meddle with it.
Joe says that FedEx is awesome because they're based in Memphis, which is a city known for its safety -- and if a shipping company is based in a place known for safety, then they must ship things safely too.
Uh... er... something like that?

Re: UPS FedEx reliability
I'm hoping the buyer of the tuba in the thread that started this whole drama (who, IIRC, wanted Greyhound) will pop up and tell us how bad the damage was.
If it's that tuba the OP recently offered for sale here, it's a 6/4 tuba made by a company known for thin brass, shipped by UPS in a box of no more than 165" all dimensions added... It would be almost beyond belief that it isn't damaged. It could happen, but it would be surprising. I'd like to know what it looked like when the buyer opened the box. Probably we'll never know, but still...

Bruh. You're only anonymous because - like me - no one gives a **** about you.GregTuba79 wrote: "The Internet", giving anonymous cowards a platform to take their inner child out with no inhibitions while their wives are in the other room knitting thinking they are doing research on musical instruments.

I read these kind of posts, but must laugh. Whenever someone says they don't care yet goes through the trouble of calling someone out? Aren't we all supposed to be acting adults around here? This is a tuba forum.Biggs wrote:Bruh.
