As a Jew I used to celebrate, not observe, the Passover Seder. I knew the story, but never quite understood what it meant. Now I know that Christ is the ultimate Passover sacrifice, and I observed Passover for the first time today.

What a fantastic Sabbath. A double Sabbath. The Day to be Most Observed. Tomorrow is also a Sabbath and I will be in church, perfoming one of my pieces that I wrote for the rag-tag church orchestra we have of 2 clarinets, 2 trumpets, tuba, piano, 4 violins. What an amazing time we live in.

Christ and His Apostles all observed the Passover feast. Just check out this search for the word "Passover".

Christ the Lamb was the ultimate sacrifice for mankind, giving His flesh in order to give us life. Christ would be unhappy to see His people on earth celebrating Pagan rituals in His name like Christman and Easter. The truth is clearly written in the scriptures...

Uhhh... why exactly did you take this opportunity to impart your personal and controversial religious beliefs in a very simple thread wishing people a happy passover?

What's the point of a message board if you cannot express your beliefs. Thank you Doug!

You can have all the free speech you want, but why not start your own thread on "Jews for Jesus" or "How I feel about traditional Christian Holidays?"

Whenever there is a holiday, it seems someone always starts a thread wishing everybody a happy whatever. And usually those threads take their course and move on just fine. Until now when instead of wishing the person likewise, you decide to spread your own (controversial) ideas.

I am not suggesting that you or anybody else doesn't have the right to free speech. I am suggesting that when you take advantage of that free speech you don't insult others.

I never insult. I am only trying to inform. Passover is a commanded feast of God the Father. The vast majority of the world doesn't understand the true meaning, including the Jews, which I am one of. It is my God given duty to explain these things to anyone who will listen. Just like your pixel box in the living room, you can turn this off by not even opening up the page.

Sure, "happy holidays" is all hunky doory and warm and fuzzy, but wouldn't you like know why? Don't people come onto this message board for understanding the tuba? Life as a human being has more to do with music, and yes, even the tuba, then one may think. God's kingdom is coming soon to this earth, and those who will listen will be prepared for the test ahead.

Even though I agree with the intent of the above question, the answer is the same reason the above question and all answers before this and after were made:

Because we can.
Because some folks just can't help themselves.
