Semi-hard cases for sale

Post by Tubaryan12 »

I have 2 cases for sale. They are the standard, nylon covered foam cases you get with Chinese instruments. One tuba case (it fits my Marzan), and one euphonium case. $50 each OBO plus actual shipping (your choice of method). I bought the tuba case and have probably used it 2 times. The euphonium case has been out of the house once per week, but I finally purchased a bag so it will just collect dust. I am in the greater Cleveland area in case you may be interested in local pick up.

I have a Nirschl 4/4 that is very close to a Marzan. Could you post a pic or two of your Marzan for me to get a better gauge of the dimensions? Maybe a pic in the case?

I'll have to do it when I get back home on Saturday.

Thanks! My horn has pistons... In your opinion, is there clearance for those? If the picture included just a few more inches of the top interior...

Tuba case lid

I believe pistons will clear. These cases are probably made generically so that they can fit both. The case depth at the body of the instrument of the lid of the case is 3.5 inches. Total case depth at the body (bottom plus top) is 11 inches.
