I am selling my Miraphone 1291 CC. This is a fantastic horn that served me well throughout my Master's Degree and Doctoral Degree. I played in a large band, large orchestra, tuba quartet, brass quintet, and everything in between with this horn. It is very versatile and the only reason I am getting rid of it is so I can downsize.
The horn is a great example of the 1291 and I can honestly say out of all of them I've played this one is as good as any. No glaring tuning issues at all.
Cosmetically, it is in decent shape. It has it's fair share of dents on the backside of it, but nothing that would alter how it plays.
The horn comes with a fitted Miraphone gig bag (and maybe some cat hair). I am asking $6800 OBO. The horn has just returned from a professional cleaning and is in spectacular condition. For the price, this is a fantastic deal. PM me if interested. The horn is located in St. Louis. I will be in Chicago February 20-21. I am willing to do some driving to meet for tests or a sale. I would prefer not to ship for trials.

I currently play on a Miraphone 1291 CC. Its a great horn with plenty of versatility!
