Holton Bugle

Post by oldbandnerd »

I saw a Holton bugle in a antique shop over the weekend and am wondering if it has any collectors value. The store wanted $200 for it. I don't know if it is worth that. Other than just being old and needing a good shine it is in excellent shape.
Does anyone know if it is worth anything . I would have bought it right then if the price were under $50 but just because you do'nt see many usable old bugles anymore.

It is a non valved, most likely key of G , plain ole looking Army Bugle . It looks just like my Rexcraft Boy Scout bugle . This picture is very close to what it looks like : http://d2ydh70d4b5xgv.cloudfront.net/im ... d62c1a.jpg" target="_blank
