recording of tuba tunes?

Post by dopey »

My pianist backed out of my for a concert monday that I was going to be doing Effie Joins a carnival, I am hopefully going to be able to find another pianist to do it for me but if not the only unaccomp piece I have for tuba is tuba tunes.

Has anyone played this and recorded? and where/how can I get it Asap to try and get a feel of what these movements sound like. If I can't find a piano player I plan on playing one movement from this.

Thanks, if anyone even has a personal recording of it i'd love to hear it.

Are there any catchy, audience pleasing unaccomp solos one can learn in a few readings? I have introduction and dance, air and bourree, effie, and vocalise but all of these are piano accomp. I've heard a recording of hartley's suite but it just wasn't me.
