My favorite are the Gotz bags that come with B&S/MW. They are the best top-loaders I have used. Though, I know it's not a top-loader, but the Wessex bag is a fantastic bag for my B&S Perantucci Model (PT10).

I find too many dents when I've used the Gaurd bags and the Altieri bags are the most-comfotable for me to carry but don't really have much protection.

Just my two cents. :tuba:

That's the one. My PT6P came with one and it was the best top-loading bag I've ever had (or seen for that matter). I just don't like top loading bags, as I am a bit challenged vertically, so I sold it.

Another vote for Gotz here, although I believe there are also B&S top loaders that are NOT Gotz (at Custom Music, the blue ones). Just a great bag (to me!).

Thomann is good, if you want that exact bag. If you need a custom size, I think you can custom order through them, but communication was slow, and I had trouble getting any info for options like color, straps, etc.

There's also a British store, Mr. Tuba(?) or something like that. They sell them, but told me shipping would cost as much as the bag itself. I don't quite believe that, but that's fine, I took my business elsewhere.

I bought my Gotz from Tucci's hornboerse.de -- Stefan was just great to work with. Quick replies, perfekt English (naturally!), any options I wanted, and a good price. I got the triple padded bag (much better than the double padded I had with my Rudy). Price plus shipping was on par with a cordura Cronkhite, and first email to my doorstep.was about a month.

Huh. I was not aware that all of their horns might not come with a Gotz bag. Mine definitely had the Supersac logo on it and was identical to the bag you received from them for your Willson. I was honestly amazed by how nice of a bag it was (I had never seen a well-padded top-loader before it and therefore thought they just didn't exist).

Hey Robert, PM me your email address, I'll send you the info that CMC sent me a while back about these. Looks decent, but the Gotz looks MUCH better.

I'll admit, the first Gotz bag I had (bought through Wessex, back when they were a dealer) didn't exactly wow me with the padding -- it was sufficient, but probably about like an Alteiri (which I hate). The construction, however, was just awesome, the fit and finish was certainly the best of any top-loader I'd ever seen.

So when I ordered the bag for my Willson, I was sure to request the triple padded version (the default is the double padded). I have absolutely no complaints about this gig bag.

Of the Germany-made bags, indeed Goetz is considered to be the best. Are being used by several makers of tubas.
As a good second I would recommend the assortment of FMB (Fachmarkt Blasmusik) in Guetersloh. I suppose, that the FMB-bags are being made by Goetz as well. While Goetz-bags are between Euro 285 and 385, FMB-bags are between Euro 254 and 263 at the moment (prices directly from FMB).
Very nice are the Swiss made Ritter bags, but their assortment is very limited. And they do not offer custom-made-bags.
