Im looking to buy a VW bus. Any model any condition. If you have one out in your barn or your crazy uncle does just send the info over to me. Preferably running. Any help is appreciated!

Wow. Who would have thought that a VW microbus would ever command five (let alone six!) figure prices?!?

(I remember looking at a nice VW microbus in 1979, and passing on it because I thought it was overpriced at $2000. I eventually bought a 1971 Super Beetle for $1200. I really miss that car...

Ah, the 70s was a great decade...... :cry:

There is a vw junkyard on the south east side of interstate 77 and interstate 70 in Ohio probably 60 miles east of columbus.
lots of cars and vans .

Personally, I'd put a lot more faith in the Subaru engine than I would a stock VW bus engine. And liquid cooling in my opinion would be a major plus, especially if the seller figured out a way to patch the engine into the heat and defrost system in the bus. That would be way better than the VW design.

Almost makes me want to find a ragged out bus and do the conversion myself................ALMOST!
