Funny I took a horn to DC with a couple issues, Joe looked at it told me how to fix it and off I went. $0 dollars...

This is why blokeplace® will start charging a $20 "bench fee" $5 for "shop supplies" and a $3 "environmentally friendly disposal" fee.

Re: bloke - the $0.00 repair-guy
One time bloke fixed my tuba dent for free. not only that, he used a special tuning electro magnet that charges the brass so it never plays out of tune. He offered to cryogenically freeze it, send it back in time , have Arnold Jacobs cough on it, bring it back, and apply an indestructible lacquer (so impenetrable that even light can't pass through it, so it's invisible) for ten dollars, but I declined. I took it home, polished it with boogers and dirty underwear and sold it a couple of months later.

I hope this turns out well, but it appears you may have left blokeplace® with all bloke's money, too. Now he's going to have to get to work, if there's going to be any at all for the next visitor.bloke wrote:The cost was $0.00, I left blokeplace® with all of my money, and me playing my tuba better.

I happen to know of a scheme whereby people are coerced into sending 15% of their earnings of 100¢ dollars into a central authority, and then - about five decades later...and IF they live that long...they are - a little bit at a time - paid back (via centrally-engineered inflation) 12¢ dollars UNTIL they (soon thereafter) croak. Curiously, the vast majority of the people of that land seem to embrace the scheme.
Thank goodness for FDR....

I once failed to even consult Bloke on a repair and on another occasion a mouthpiece issue and he didn't charge me anything.
