That's right - you can easily ID the King 2268 (or 2266 with a directional bell) by the 4th valve tube that runs parellel to the top bow, just inside it. Some older Conns did that too, but not the Connstellations. The 4th valve on the 25i has 2 tight bends on the bottom in the back - and (here's the neat feature) they both pull. You can tune the 4th valve down to a low concert-E.Lew wrote:The link he posted is definitely not a Conn 25I. The 25I has a very distinctive "double" 4th valve wrap. And of course, the 25i has the slide kicker on the front.
