Wasn't the HoJo based off his Howard's Mahillon(sp?), instead of the MW-11? :?:

A student of mine bought one of these and he's let me play on it. It's a very nimble tuba, fun to play. The valve springs were very stiff, so I traded him some lighter ones and now the valves just fly. Nice tuba.
