small CC tuba

Post by controclarone »

Hi everybody, I know that this is probably a topic that was already discussed, but I would need suggestions to buy a small CC tuba.

What are your opinion about the the following models?

Yamaha ycb621,
Kanstul 902,
Cerveny 603,
Miraphone 184,
Big Mouth J-834
JOSEF LIDL LCB 702

It is hard to try all of them in the same place.
Thanks

main use is to play a sort of ``improvised music''
in small acoustic ensambles.

I need an instrument with a nice sound (not necessarily big sound) that is easy on all registers and with a light weight

Thanks

I have a Lidl 702 that I like better than 184 and 621. See my previous For Sale posts for details. I can email you pictures.

I use a 621 CC and the low range is great - very free and open.

I like the conn 2j. Everything you're asking for and very affordable if you can find one.
