Frankentuba use for Conn Giant Eb bell
I just found a new use for the Conn Giant Eb tuba bell. Here's the picture of what I put together today. Fits perfectly. Great sound and response. It's in BBb. Now to get some prettying up done.

Oops, yeah, those aren't close to the same are they? My bad. Layout is kind of the same...kind of.

It sounds a lot like the Conn Orchestra Grand but with much better slots and intonation. The low end is awesome.

Did you have to adjust the length at all to keep it in BBb or was it a straightforward bell swap?Sam Gnagey wrote:It sounds a lot like the Conn Orchestra Grand but with much better slots and intonation. The low end is awesome.
