I remember those pictures from vioworld.de about a year or so ago.

Wade, It's a Swiss company, who only made cases, made it. When the Swiss Army Band decided that they wanted to have cases made cheaper elsewhere, the case company went out of business. (They closed the case...) However they were good cases but not cheap.the elephant wrote:Not to hijack, but who made (not "sold") that case? I have one that came with my Kurath and it is absolutely identical except that mine has wheels. So Hirsbrunner did not manufacture it but had it made for them, I am guessing.
Hirsbrunner and Willson both made front action comps long before Besson. I'm surprised this horn sold for that much. I wouldn't feel right selling the ones I have here in Switzerland for such a high price. Doesn't seem honest to me. Hope the buyer is happy.
