FS: Conn 54J $5000 (w/ cases)

Post by AsiagoCheezBagel »

Hello all,

Selling my Conn 54J. Bought in 2004 from Dillon Music. The first tuba I ever owned. It's difficult to do this but I just bought another horn and I cannot afford to keep multiple CC tubas (I'd have an arsenal if I could!). Plays incredibly cleanly, especially in the low register. This tuba easily shifts between ensembles, so if you're like me and you like playing CC in both large and small ensembles, give this horn a look. I think they also stopped making these recently, so if you want one, you're in luck.

Posted $5500 on Facebook but dropping the price to $5000. Includes Altieri gig bag and Conn hard case (in my experience, other hard cases generally do not fit this model unless you get a custom made flight case). Located in Athens, GA (for now, will probably move by the end of the summer).

If you need more info or photos, don't hesitate to contact me. Photo album here (should work even if you don't have a Facebook account): https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... a31f765597" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank" target="_blank

Need to keep the blue garland for future holiday concerts, sorry.

Bump! Lots of nibbles but no bites... I will be at ITEC if you'd like to pick it up that way! I will also beat the Great American Brass Band Festival that same week.
