Re: NERTEC
All the regionals have been set and it is fine to post the details. I don't remember them myself.

Re: NERTEC
Figured I would chime in on this conversation.
The greater Edinburg/McAllen/Pharr/Mission area is is over 500,000 people within a 20 mile radius served by 2 commercial airports.
UT Rio Grande Valley is a Division 1 university with almost 29,000 students. We have a brand new Performing Arts Facility with a 1000 seat auditorium and four rehearsal halls that is just fantastic.
I think this would qualify as a major metropolitan area and a major university.
If the travel times are a concern, we are 3.5 hours from San Antonio, 4.5 hours south of Austin, 5.5 hours from Houston, and 8 hours south of DFW. The last two ITEA regional conferences from Edinburg were 11 and 13 hour commutes for the students at UTRGV. There are 4 universities in south Texas that are very excited about the conference being held down here because they won't have to make massive trips as they have done in the past to attend ITEA regional conferences.

also glad to see my original alma mater is keeping itself more relevant to the tuba community than it was when I was there.

Re: NERTEC
I hope I can make SERTEC this coming year since ITEC is out of the question.
