Based on the serial number, it was made in 2013.
Everything is in excellent condition. The valves are smooth and quiet - I had them tuned up just after I purchased it. The slide is in 8/10; I've been using Trombotine. It works smoothly and with no hitches. It's not going to blow your socks off or anything, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.
I pulled the leadpipe so it now takes any press-fit pipe you want. You can even use threaded pipes (like I have in it now) - I just use a small piece of black tape to hold it in place (you can see it in the pictures). It comes with Shires B2.5 leadpipe.
I modified the rotor bumper stop plates so that the stop arms hit the center of the bumpers so they are less noisy and the bumpers will need far, far less frequent replacing. I also added some rubber on the F trigger to make it more comfortable.
There are a few mute kisses on the bell - I tried to picture them, but you can't really see it. Also, there is a tiny bit of lacquer scuffing on the main bell brace where I had a Hagmann hand rest attached. There is no other lacquer wear on the horn; dare I say it's 99.9%
This is a great playing horn, especially with the few fixups I've done to it. It is ready to take out the case and head to a gig. Comes with the stock Holton case that's in fabulous condition as well as the Holton 1-1/2G mouthpiece. In addition, I can also throw in your choice of a Wick 0AL classic or a Schilke 60. Or all three if you really want them all.
