All I know is that meteorology schools seem to be really good at cranking out extremely attractive well endowed women who have mastered the art of pointing (well most of the time).

Imminent collapse of the social-politico-economic-financial-world order coming any day now. The end of the EU as we know it has already happened.

Our world economy - and our currency - will not be the first nor the last to collapse. It collapsed only 87 ago - a collapse which was exacerbated by one of our genius "progressive" rulers (now: considered one of the Church of Progress uber-gods), who then (having created a hopeless mess) threw up his hands and harassed the Japanese until - finally - he left them no choice but to declare war on us (resorting to a war economy to cloak his Great Depression). During a panic/recession before that one (c. 1910 - 1914), our rulers - in their great wisdom - decided that something called "The Fed" would save us from the one we have been entering into. Instead, it absolutely CAUSED it....and the more "The Fed" does to cloak it in a nice thick layer of poop, the worse it will become (when The Fed - ultimately - runs out of poop).
...but go ahead and stock up on your dollars...and on your "stocks"... Absolutely avoid acquiring anything real...Someone could STEAL that from you, you know.

So, you think Lincoln and FDR weren't good Presidents...who DO you like--Jeff Davis?

Let's see - Lincoln suspended Habeus Corpus - a fact that seems to be widely conviently forgotten. I can just imagine how you would get your panites tied up in knots if that happened today. Lincoln certainly saved the Union and thank god he saved us from the Democrats. FDR tried to stack the supreme court, ignored the two term limits for presidents, hid his diabilities from the public, ran roughshod over the free press and is responsible for many of the badly managed socialist programs such as Social Security that have badly damaged this nation over time. Yes Lincoln was a great president. It will be another 50 years before we can really assess the tremendous amount of damage that the socialite FDR has done to the nation over the long term.bisontuba wrote:bloke wrote:naw...rather: a ghost-of-a-chance for the world economy's salvation (except that the UK itself is composed of ...well, it certainly seems that way... a bunch of socialist ninnies...much like Americans, eh? - "subjects" - with-or-without clinging on to that rotten tree root on the side of the abyss known as the "EU").alfredr wrote:Imminent collapse of the social-politico-economic-financial-world order coming any day now.
