I don't know what joe is talking about, but Lea&Perrins Worchestershire Sauce may well be the best-tasting stuff on the whole planet.

Anchovie paste's in several kinds of salad dressing--it's an essential part of Caesar salad, for example. Very useful stuff, if you don't mistake the tube for toothpaste.

Try grilling a hamburger and basting it with a mixture of melted butter and Lea&Perrins. Yum.

My dad used to do exactly that....and I've still never tasted a better hamburger!!

MA, who has been unable to duplicate the feat (but for steak I do prefer A-1 sauce.)

You really need to get a good cut of meat, cooked properly then.

If a steak needs anything, something is wrong.

I've sent steaks back because the used some sauce/seasoning on it that wasn't mention on the menu.
