I'm 99% sure it's a printing error. The Ostrander edition has a couple that differ from the Hofmeister version. I recommend the Hofmeister.

Thanks for the help, all.
Since it sounds like it is much more authentic to the original piece, I will definitely be ordering the Hofmeister edition as a reference. Always good to know, and I imagine the accompaniment will be more accurate as well.
