Rotary valve parts diagram

Post by bort »

I know I've seen this before, but I can't find it on my own...

Is there a diagram that shows a rotary valve section, and has all of the parts labeled? I'm not quite 100% on my vocabulary, and a diagram would answer my questions.

Thanks!

Very helpful! Thanks!

Is there anything that labels the linkage parts as well?

Hey Bloke - as the proud owner of a historic Gronitz, I'm hurt by the "disgronificator" appellation  (Not really- just showing that you can't post ANYTHING without somebody being "injured") Isn't that the part just before the mouthpiece?

Thanks! (Mostly!)

What is the name of the horizontal bar, where the paddles and springs attach?
