From what I've heard, the semi-final round was held today and five were advanced to a second semi-final round to be held tomorrow. Tim Higgins and Jay Evans were among them.

I was there (of course!), and I thought that he played the best. I REALLY look forward to working with him.
Bravo, Weston!

Congratulations to Weston! This is a huge accomplishment--sounds like Weston is pretty young as well.
Could anybody share the music that was played by round?
In particular, was the Bach 'Cello Suite asked for? (Did Weston play it with ornaments if it was included?)
TIA

Hi,
I had the fortune to play a summer out at Tanglewood with Weston. Great player, dedicated and genuine. I dont't think I can remember someone who was as fanatical about practicing. Looks like it payed off. Bravo Weston!
Tom McCaslin
btw, Tim Higgins was in that section as well and he needs props for a job well done as well

Hey Chris:
Can you share a little more info about the audition process at the Met? I know the screen was up for the whole thing, but anything else you could add would be interesting to many of us.
