The reason I prefer the Hagen is that for me:
1: Response is faster
2: Intonation was more even
3: I had easier to get a nice tone on the Hagen
4: To me the Siegfried was physically to big and heavy
Mind that I am a amateur musician playing on my spare time so a pro tuba player will probably get an different result

I wish they had the 6/4 Hagen there when I visited. Siegfried was nice but got me wondering if it's too big for auditions. Really want it but smaller ones had their pro's. 289 and 91 are my 2 other options...

Miraphone sent the tuba for silver plating to another company. When the tuba returned Miraphone was not satisfied with the result, so the tuba was sent back for replating. So I guess my tuba have double silver plating layers
