Pic of Don Harry with his legendary 186 and bass trombonist Jeff Dee. Jeff will leave in a week to join the Pittsburgh Symphony as their new bass trombone player. Jeff is a fine player and person.

Wonderful photo, that 186 has some stories to tell! I wonder on which recordings Don H. might be heard using it? My own 186 looks to be about the same vintage, made in 1966. I have taken care of it and still use it, although I purchased a 188 a few years ago, just a little easier to blow now....
