FS Miraphone Gig Bag - SOLD

Post by Bill Troiano »

I'm selling my Miraphone gig bag that perfectly fits, and came with, my 1292 when I bought it used 3 years ago. I bought the tuba and bag from a college senior, so I'm guessing that it's about 7-8 years old. It's a well made bag that has a reinforcing carbon fiber plate in the bell portion, adding extra protection for the bell. I'm only selling it because I prefer the lighter weight, draw string Altieri bag, which also rides higher on my back than most other bags. This bag doesn't look new, but it is structurally sound. I'm asking $175.00. Buyer pays shipping.

The cost of $230.00 includes shipping within the U.S.

Bump City !

In measuring the bag, I came up with a height of 36.5 in.

Would this Gig Bag accommodate a 4/4 St. Petersburg tuba? Or is it too large?

Would it fit a St. Pete? First, the height of this Miraphone bag is 36.5 inches. I just measured across the bag in 2 areas. If you look at the pictures, and at the storage compartment on the front of the bag, it (the bag) measures 23 in. across at the top of the storage compartment and 20 in. across at the bottom of the compartment. The bell of the 1292 is 18.5 in. It's difficult to say if the bag would fit the St. Pete. Maybe take some measurements of your St. Pete that I could compare to my 1292.

May i know if the gig bag is still available?

May i know the bell size for the bag?

Would it be possible to sell it to Singapore?

How much would it cost?

Hope to receive your reply soonest possible.

Yes, the bag is still available.

It perfectly fits a Miraphone 1292 with an 18.5 in. bell. I don't think that a larger bell would fit n the bag.

I have no idea what it would cost to ship to Singapore. I prefer to ship within the U. S.

Yes, the bag is still available. I have no idea if it will fit your HB copy.

The Miraphone 1292:
bell - 18.5 in. diameter
height - 37 in.
weight 21 lbs.
distance across bottom bow at ferrules - around 19 in.
