1925 Conn Sousaphone
I have entered the sousaphone world with a borrowed Conn 1925 BBb 3 valve horn. It will be receiving much needed attention from my technician very shortly. What are the opinions about these particular horns? As well, any advice on playing technique will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: 1925 Conn Sousaphone
You should be able to find a model number stamped on the body, on a collar ring at the large end near the bell tenon. Possibly 38K. Possibly something else, though I wouldn't guess what. Likely a very good sousaphone - a good example of a 38K would be among the best ever, though of course over the following century a lot can happen.
