Am I correct in thinking that the Szentpali pieces are a bit wide & shallow?

I play on both the C and the F versions and wouldn't consider either of them to be shallow. The C is indeed quite wide, but is also pretty deep (the cup feels similar in depth to Conn Helleberg). The F is not as wide as the C, but still deeper than some F mouthpieces I have tried (the cup feels similar to a PT50).

These are not precise measurements in any way, but should help to give you somewhat of an idea of the size of each.

Robert, it sounds like we have different versions of the F!?

I have the F & C.
C is 33.5mm I.D. and deep bowlish style. A bigmouthpiece.
F has I.D. around 32mm if memory serves and shallow (about like a C4). The cup has straightish sides and then a pronounced bottom to the cup.
I like the F a lot.
Both have rounded, cushioned rims.

I wasn't talking about cup shape, but trying to compare the depth, though I probably wasn't too clear on that. Your descriptions of the shape are spot on, but I personally don't consider the F to be shallow compared to other ones I have played (though maybe the bowled cup makes it seem deeper than it really is to me. It would be nice if there was a measurement of cup depth on Ivan's site for our edification.
