York Gangey CC for sale with gig bag $6,500 SOLD

Hey,
I'm selling my wonderful York Gnagey CC. I've used this with Midtown Brass, with all sorts of rock bands, church jobs, orchestras, chamber ensembles, solo work and everything in between. She's been really good to me.

It's a great horn with really good intonation.
I've had a good bit of work done to it, to include (but not limited to):
New large valve buttons
Custom 5th valve thumb trigger
Adjusted receiver and cleaned up
Slides adjusted

I really hate to sell it, but I'm just not using it right now.

$6,500 for the tuba and gig bag, I'd rather not ship if possible.

The gig bag is a tuxedo bag in decent shape (6 of 10) that's a bit big for the horn, but it works just fine.

Literally played this yesterday. Wasn't interested in buying it, just hanging out with Bill, because I basically already have this horn, but this is a fantastic instrument. Super easy to play, point and shoot intonation, and a marvelous sound. I really feel like it could hold up the largest of groups. That's the kind of sound it produced. This has a very colorful sound since it has that beautiful York bell and bottom bow. This was my first experience with a Gangey, but it was very enjoyable. I'm pretty picky when it comes to horns, but this is one I would love to own if I didn't own a York style 4/4 CC already.

Buy this horn! I highly approve!
