Since you are "in the know" (or at least know someone who is "in the know"), I'll ask you the same question I asked Cthuba:

"Is there a money-back guarantee, should it not live up to expectations?"

If not, I will ask the next question:

"Why not?"

There was one review I read that said the small LefreQue added to his 2nd valve knuckle (Sterling euphonium) really helped him get the high 'B' natural to speak. That's a tough note on many euphs.

I hear some differences in Misa Meads demo linked below, but is it worth it to spend the $$?
Misa Mead with and without lefreQue
Miraphone 5050 - Warburton BJ/RF mpc
YEP-641S (recently sold), DE mpc (102 rim; I-cup; I-9 shank)
Symphonic Band of the Palm Beaches:
"Always play with a good tone, never louder than lovely, never softer than supported." - author unknown.

Her company has a 30-day return satisfaction policy on LafreQue as with all their musical instruments and accessories.

I am actually very glad to hear that this is the case - thank you for sharing the info with the rest of us.

At least if there is no risk in trying it, "no harm, no foul".

Unquestionably you can mute some overtones by simply placing the clamps ( like the ones used for marching tuba leadpipe) on the branches of your tuba. Some of them truly eliminate some unwanted vibes and it's good to experiment with those. I doubt it it makes any difference to your audience. Whatever makes you closer to your horn is great !

If they're annoying him, it's trumpeting may be generally louder...
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I've never known an Elephant to play trumpet. Tuba, yes....
But I don't think he has fleas.

The slide I normally play has had the flange unsoldered from the upper tube for about a year. Doesn't itch at all.
