For sale is a King 1165 (I'm not sure, I just glanced through the catalog and it looked like that one) bell-front baritone in satin silver with a gold wash bell. The silver plating is in excellent condition and the gold wash is quite good also. I couldn't figure out a date for it, the H.N. White/King website only had serial numbers up until about 1965, and this number was past those. This serial number is 684XXX. It has some dents, dings, and scratches, but it's in very good shape overall. The valves are fast and smooth with good pop. The slides are all free as well.
It comes with a hard case (latches tightly, but rough on the outside) and a mouthpiece (no brand or model number engraved on it).
I'm asking $400 plus shipping from Lincoln, NE. I have used greyhound from here with no problems, but if you prefer another carrier, that's fine with me as it would be at the buyer's expense. I would also be willing to trade for a Conn 12J tuba (if you've got a beater that you would sell for the same price range).
I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking! Thanks for looking!
