MW2250 Sold - pending funds

Post by Jeff Keller »

I might be parting with my MW 2250...

I will get pictures up this afternoon. Quite a few mods were done to the horn by Alan Baer before I purchased it. Since then, I have removed all of the remaining laquer. Horn has been ultrasonically cleaned. Comes with an MTS hard case. Great horn, just don't need it in my current position. Horn is located in Washington, D.C. Price includes Shipping via Greyhound to CONUS locations.

Price is $9000.

Here is original post from when I bought it last year.

As promised, here are pictures.

I will polish the horn so that you can see the brushed finish (currently underneath the tarnish) for the buyer.

If you have any questions, please let me know either through pm or email. I check both regularly.

Also, price could be negotiable?

Cheers, and thanks for looking!

J

Bump for Jeff. It's a great example of a MW 2250.Jeff worked with me in the Navy before he joined the army. He sounded great playing this tuba on the solos he performed with the band.

Jeff man, I left you like a hundred text messages. Message me back;)

Great example of this model. I've played it many times and it has a great unlaquered finish. If you're looking for a 2250 or nice big piston F, its a good one!
