Pretty lame but a lot like many of the "Band Dad" repairs seen. Not a bad price if it goes for anywhere near it is with an hour to go.YORK-aholic wrote:Or epoxy... There are a few of the knead and apply variety that dry to that color.

I don't "get" the logic behind this tactic.ValveSlide wrote:Relisted for $200 more and a "make an offer" option.

This seller is pretty fair in his dealing. Offer him half (or less) than the listed price and 'do the dance'.roweenie wrote:I don't "get" the logic behind this tactic.ValveSlide wrote:Relisted for $200 more and a "make an offer" option.

I'm sure he is fair - I've seem him sell quite a few things, and his feedback score is high.Dan Schultz wrote:This seller is pretty fair in his dealing. Maybe I'm missing something, but I just don't follow the strategy of re-listing, at a higher price, something that didn't sell the first time....just curious.....

"Up market" - you never know who's out there, maybe someone who wants a better tuba. So you pitch it at a higher price, since that's your #1 cue to quality. That's my guess.

I've bought from him in the past. Good seller. I usually lowball and we meet in the middle somewhere. Never hurts to lowball, worse they can do is say no.
