Hello all,

I'm selling my Miraphone 1291, it is a 4/4 sized CC tuba with 4 piston valves and 1 rotary. The instrument comes with a Cronkhite gig bag. It was recently cleaned and has been in the shop since then (originally began to sell locally from the shop). The valves were vented by the first owner and they play well.

This horn got me through my undergraduate studies with no issues. I played in orchestra, band, brass quintet, and solo'd with it. There's a great high range and intonation is solid.

I am located in Cincinnati, OH and the horn is (for the next few weeks) located in Waterloo, IA. If you live closer to Iowa you may visit the shop to playtest the horn (Grady Instrument Repair), however, a friend who works there will soon be bringing the horn down south. If you'd like to meet up closer to the Cincinnati area that can be arranged too! Shipping could be possible.
