I quite like my Sellmansberger Symphony mouthpieces with Bloke’s #2 rim. However, I find myself waffling back and forth between the larger (33.2mm) and mid sized (32.6mm) #2 rims. I find the #2 at 33.2 mm rim to be a bit too large of an opening and the 32.6 mm one to be a bit too small. I’m interested in a #2 rim midway between those. That would be 32.9 mm. My understanding is that those could be produced for the normal rim price ($80 US per the Houser site) if the quantity ordered was around 20. I don’t need 20. If you’re seriously interested in a 32.9mm #2 rim (as in “Hell yeah, where do I sign? where do I send my money?”), PM me your name and email address and let me know how many you would want. I would like to find out if it is possible to get to the quantity needed.
I should point out that these would work with Sellmansberger, Parker, or Mouthpiece Ordnance cups as well.

I've never seen the #1 rim but the #2 rim to me is quite narrow and just flat enough (in other words, about perfect for me). Is the #1 rim wider and flatter? Or is the width the same but just flatter?JCRaymo wrote:I think I would really prefer the number 1 rim in the 32.9. I am really hoping I adjust to the 32.6 but I know for a fact a 32.9 will work as I have used that size pretty much as long as I have been playing. Not to split hairs but it does make a difference.
Still waiting to try the imperial on my Willson Eb. I know I will love it but if you need any requests for the above mentioned size you can add my name to the list.
