The Tuba Player's Christmas list

Post by tyrell1111 »

It's that time of year again! Mothers and grandmothers everywhere are trying to buy gifts for their tuba playing sons and daughters. Any thoughts about what books, tools, or other things a tuba player should ask for?

This CD by the National Brass would be welcome by most any tuba player. I bought mine on Amazon. Also, I was fortunate to be in the audience when this group played this program in northern California two years ago.

I'm going to see the Canadian Brass this year.

I couldn't chance it and bought the tickets myself!!

Well, I'm asking for this since I've found that I'm not around my horn as often as I'd like to because of school, work, etc. It would let me work on fingerings without squandering my normal practice time on them. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DDPRENY/re ... 0QGYRUJWOC" target="_blank" target="_blank

I've also got Hetman no. 8 slide grease on my list since I need it and a BERP buzz extension since those seem to be popular as well as magnets and dent balls.

1 - the PERFECT MOUTHPIECE
2 - a great playing Cimbasso that doesn't cost as much as a 6450
3 - BBb tuba for under $10,000 that I can play (5 - valve, please)

Thanks, Santa!
