Marco Bordogni 43 Bel Canto Studies

Post by ashhealey »

Hi I am reading though Marco Bordogni 43 Bel Canto Studies I am currently stuck on #20 in the book. So if anyone has a copy of the book and feels pretty confident in their ability to play #20 and would like to email it to me at ashhealey@outlook.com" target="_blank. That would be greatly appreciated (I am only a high school student so that's why I am struggling). Thank you all :D

It's based on an old children's song called "I'm a little teapot". Perhaps you are struggling with the key signature. Try playing it in E-flat instead of E. You'll have to change some "accidentals" (really "intentional") from sharps to naturals and from naturals to flats. Once you get to know the tune and have mastered your E scale you will find it much easier to play in the original key.
