Where where where??? Please tell me you remember where you bought it. Was it a refurbished or "open box" item?? I have only seen the Palm Zire 31 for that price. I will have to do some more digging.

Wow B!tchin'! The best deal I have found so far is $156.97 + $12 shipping. It may be a LITTLE cheaper than Staples, BUT I would rather have the security of buying a NEW one from Staples then an open box from an Internet Vendor!

Thanks for the headsup Charlie!

Perfect for unobtrusively and fruitfully killing time during rehearsals!
You aren't kidding there. I have owned a Dell Axim X5 for the last couple of years or so and it is great for those songs "that should be moved to the end of the rehearsal". Pocket PC is great for games too. I use Avantgo all the time.

I'm always surprised at (f'rinstance) percussionists who think nothing of leafing noisily through the newspaper during rehearsal, making the noise of any three string players combined, brazenly advertising their inattention to the job at hand.

With the Treo, I can be sneakily inattentive! :D

When I was in 6th grade, our class went to see the local Symphony Orchestra. During one piece, the tuba player (who later became my high school band director) pulled out a newspaper to read during the concert. I still bug him about that one. :D

Well, I ordered a Palm Tungsten E.....actually 2 (one for the wife). On ebay I saw a seller who sells electronics selling a few NEW (in package) Tungsten E's for $149.99 which included some extras. The extras included extra styli, screen protectors, a leather case and a game CD. The seller had terrific feedback and guaranteed it against being DOA.

My wife and I can't wait to receive them. I feel like a kid getting a new toy. :)

Well, I found some freeware for Palm PDA's on the internet. These programs included a metronome and an electronic tuning fork. I'm still trying to find a free version (or clone) of Bejeweled. It's a very addicting and fun game to play when you have time to kill.

If anyone knows of any good PDA Freeware sites, please post them here.
