Hello all. I am selling my Wessex Berg F tuba. My asking price is $2500, which is what I paid for it back in July. The price includes the horn and Wessex gig bag. I believe I am the second owner of this tuba and I bought it from another member here on tubenet. I know that he did some modifications to the horn including adding a different water key. There were other mods too that I can't remember, hopefully he will post them here. I have had Matt Walters align and tweak everything and it plays great! It plays evenly in all registers and has a pretty good low register. C in the staff plays sharp but 1&3 takes care of it nicely.
So why am I selling then if it's such a great horn you ask? Well, I have access to an outstanding horn so I no longer need this one. The horn is located on Long Island. I really don't want to ship so I'm willing to drive a bit to meet up if you want to try it.

Very nice tuba... can't go wrong for a horn that plays as good as this at that price.
