OK Gang,
I am looking into getting a hard case for my Willson 3050 CC tuba. I can't for the life of me, figure out which will it fit in. I also tried searching the page and didn't turn anything up, some stuff about gig bags, but no hard case.
Please Halp!
Thanks,
Keith

I did not know about the fitment guide for MTS. That's awesome.
Can anyone confirm for sure that one will fit, I am slightly skeptical because that is MTS' medium frame case. It should from what the website says….But…

Keith,
MTS 1207V was designed around the Miraphone BB191 tuba that is 37" tall.
MTS 1209V was designed around the Miraphone BB186 that is about 41" tall.
There is about 1" of give in both cases. If your tuba is more than 38" tall, get the 1209V instead. You can always add foam padding.
When looking at the fitment guide, I keep that info in mind.

Re: Willson 3050 Hard Case????
I use a MTS 1708 for my Willson 3050. With this case, the bell diameter and width of the instrument are perfect fits. The case is a bit long (about 3 inches too long) but the case came with an extra pad that I put on the bottom so the fit is precise with this pad installed.

My 3100 is wider than the PT6 my friend owns and the bell is definitely bigger.bloke wrote:I'd bet that it would fit in anything that fits a PT-6.
I wonder if anyone who owns one of those Wisemann 900 tubas (really decent quality zipper case included) has decided to sell their case...(??)
