Visiting a Tuba Factory

The town of Kerkrade is close to the southern tip of the Netherlands, between Belgium and Germany. Nearby German towns are Koln, Duisburg, and Krefeld.

Which tuba factory is closest to Kerkrade?

Alexander, Mainz is another option.
Just in case YouÂ´re interested in high brass as well: Monke in Cologne would have an interesting door to knock.
Most others can be found hopping over to Munich.

IÂ´ll be in Kerkrade soon, by the way. TheyÂ´re having this BIG music festival this summer. Any chance youÂ´ll be in the concert band contest ?.

That's why I'll be there. Chicago Brass Band is representing the United States and Canada in the first Brass Band Competition at the World Music Contest and performing for the opening ceremonies there.

Hmmm...Hamburg. Then I could also visit the Steinway piano factory there and, uhh, write off a portion of my trip...
